NBB at the Smithsonian

As you know, this year is the 250th anniversary of the United States.

As part of the celebration, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, just opened an incredible exhibit on bison, America’s national mammal.

As part of this big celebration of bison, the Smithsonian also just released a short film on bison.

And part of the film was shot here on our ranch last December.

Kirk Johnson, the Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History (and an awesome guy), was interviewed on the ranch.

I was also interviewed about North Bridger Bison and my work on bison conservation over the past 17 years.

We are deeply honored to be part of this celebration of bison.

And our family can’t wait to travel to DC at some point to see and experience the whole thing in person.

In the meantime, here is a link to the Smithsonian’s short bison film.

Check it out when you have a minute, and check out the exhibit at the Smithsonian if you find yourself in DC anytime soon!
